Assistant Finance Manager

Our client, a reputable real estate firm, is looking for a capable and detail-oriented Assistant Finance Manager to support financial operations, reporting, and strategic planning. This role will play an important part in ensuring accurate financial management while supporting the company’s growth and operational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

·       Maintain accurate financial records, general ledgers, and supporting documentation.

·       Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.

·       Prepare and file corporate tax and GST returns, ensuring compliance with relevant statutory requirements.

·       Support the budgeting and forecasting process, including variance analysis and financial performance monitoring.

·       Ensure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions and reporting.

·       Support audit activities and liaise with external auditors during the audit process.

·       Monitor cash flow, manage banking relationships, and support working capital management.

·       Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements.

·       Provide financial analysis and insights to support management decision-making.

·       Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payment processes.

Key Requirements

·       Degree in Accountancy or a related discipline from a recognized institution.

·       At least 5 years of relevant accounting or finance experience, ideally with prior audit exposure.

·       Good understanding of IFRS and SFRS financial reporting standards.

·       Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.

·       Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across different levels of the organization.

·       Able to apply accounting knowledge to practical business scenarios in a dynamic environment.
