Cybersecurity Engineer / Security Operations Specialist (Contract)

About the client: 
Our client is a global leader in next‑generation digital services and consulting

Responsibilities:

• Lead end to end security monitoring projects including Splunk ingestion, optimization & dashboarding
• Manage Sev1/2/3 incidents, drive RCA, and implement preventive controls
• Deploy and operate security infrastructure (HIDS/DAM) and manage CAB processes
• Support Azure cloud security, workflow automation, and manage large global app portfolios
• Collaborate with cross functional teams and senior stakeholders to align security with business goals

Requirement:

• Strong experience in Security Engineering, Incident Management & Vulnerability Management
• Hands on expertise with Splunk, ServiceNow, JIRA, SQL, Shell Scripting
• Azure Fundamentals certification preferred; ITIL V3, Splunk User certs are a plus
• Excellent communication & stakeholder management skills
• Qualifications: Bachelor’s in IT/CS, plus preferred certifications (Security+, CEH, CISSP); strong cross functional collaboration and workflow automation experience.
