Junior Power Platform Engineer (ASEAN Singapore) Job Description – Junior Power Platform Engineer Location Singapore (Open to ASEAN delivery / hybrid) Employment Type Full‑time / Contract (depending on project needs) Department Digital Solutions / IT Automation / Power Platform CoE Role Summary The Junior Power Platform Engineer supports the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of low‑code solutions using Microsoft Power Platform. This role is ideal for early‑career professionals or fresh graduates who want hands‑on exposure to enterprise automation, app development, and analytics using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse, and Microsoft 365. You will work under the guidance of senior engineers and solution architects to help digitise business processes, automate workflows, and build internal applications across departments.Key Responsibilities Power Platform Development • Assist in building Canvas Apps and Model‑Driven Apps using Power Apps • Support development of Power Automate cloud flows (approvals, notifications, integrations) • Create and enhance Power BI reports and dashboards based on business requirements • Configure and maintain data tables, relationships, and basic security roles in Microsoft Dataverse • Integrate solutions with Microsoft 365 services (SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, Excel) Testing, Support & Maintenance • Perform functional testing and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) • Troubleshoot basic app, flow, and data issues • Apply minor enhancements and bug fixes to existing solutions • Support go‑live activities and post‑deployment support • Maintain solution documentation and user guides Collaboration & Governance • Work closely with senior Power Platform engineers and solution leads • Follow Power Platform governance, security, and environment management guidelines • Participate in solution reviews, retrospectives, and internal knowledge sharing • Continuously learn new Power Platform and Copilot features Required Skills & QualificationsTechnical (Core) • Basic hands‑on experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including: • Power Apps (Canvas preferred; Model‑Driven is a plus) • Power Automate (cloud flows, approvals, connectors) • Power BI (basic visuals, measures, and datasets) • Understanding of Microsoft Dataverse fundamentals • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, Teams, Excel) • Basic knowledge of Power Fx formulas • Awareness of connectors and simple system integrations Soft Skills • Strong learning mindset and interest in low‑code / automation platforms • Good problem‑solving and analytical thinking • Ability to follow technical guidance and document work clearly • Good communication skills and team collaboration Preferred / Nice‑to‑Have • Internship, academic, or project experience using Power Platform • Basic understanding of: • JSON, expressions, or JavaScript (for flows and integrations) • Azure fundamentals (Entra ID, basic security concepts) • Exposure to: • Copilot Studio (chatbots / agents) • Power Pages • Microsoft certifications (or actively working towards): • PL‑900 – Power Platform Fundamentals • PL‑100 – Power Platform App MakerExperience Level • 0–2 years of experience in Power Platform, low‑code development, or IT automation • Fresh graduates with relevant projects or certifications are encouraged to apply Career Progression Path Junior Power Platform Engineer → Power Platform Engineer → Senior Power Platform Engineer → Power Platform Solution Architect / Technical Lead Growth is based on hands‑on delivery, certification progress, and solution ownership.
