Job Responsibilities

Lead and oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of agency projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
Serve as the primary point of contact for government agencies, vendors, and internal teams. Facilitate clear communication and collaboration.
Work with stakeholders to define project objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.
Translate business needs into actionable plans.
Develop risk mitigation strategies to address challenges proactively.
Manage project resources, including personnel, technology, and budget, to optimize project outcomes.
Ensure projects meet established quality standards and comply with relevant regulations and policies.
Provide regular updates to leadership and stakeholders on project status, milestones, and issues.
Deliver training and support for end-users to drive adoption of new technologies and processes.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Public Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree or certifications (e.g., PMP) preferred.
Experience managing projects, preferably within the public sector or government environment.
Knowledge of IT platforms, cloud solutions, cybersecurity, and data privacy best practices.
Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or equivalent.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
JLPT4 to communicate with Japanese speaking stakeholders.
