Job Description
Leadership & Supervision
- Lead and manage a team of engineers in process design and execution for LNG projects.
- Act as the main technical lead on large-scale LNG and oil/gas projects, ensuring all design aspects are aligned with project goals and regulatory standards.
Process Design & Optimization
- Direct and oversee the development of process simulations, calculations, and designs for LNG and oil/gas systems.
- Perform material selection, process optimization, and ensure that designs comply with industry codes and standards.
- Conduct and review P&ID (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams) reviews, process hazard analysis (HAZOP), and other safety reviews/workshops.
- Oversee the closure and documentation of action items from safety reviews.
Technical Expertise
- Provide expert advice on process design, safety assessments, and optimization, particularly related to LNG or FSRU terminals and oil/gas systems.
- Ensure all process design and engineering deliverables meet high technical accuracy and quality.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management
- Interface with external vendors, ensuring materials and services meet project specifications and standards.
- Communicate with clients, stakeholders, and industry bodies to ensure alignment and update on project progress.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards throughout project execution.
- Monitor and enforce the implementation of QA/QC procedures, ensuring that safety protocols are followed at all stages of the project.
