Test Engineer

Job Description

·      We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Application Engineer (Tester) to join our Quality Assurance team in Singapore. 

·      The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, executing, and documenting comprehensive test cases to ensure high-quality application delivery.

·       In this role, you will collaborate closely with development teams to identify, analyze, and resolve application issues while maintaining strong attention to detail throughout the testing lifecycle. 

Key Responsibilities 

·      Design, create, and execute test cases and test scenarios for both manual and automated testing. 

·      Perform exploratory testing to identify potential issues and improve software quality.

·       Conduct regression testing to ensure new code changes do not impact existing functionalities.

·       Utilize Tricentis Tosca for automated testing and ensure adequate test coverage.

·       Collaborate with development and QA teams to understand application requirements and develop effective test strategies and test plans.

·       Execute test cases, document test results, and report defects using qTest. 

·      Implement visual testing using Applitools to validate UI consistency across platforms and devices. 

·      Perform web penetration testing to identify security vulnerabilities and ensure application security. 

·      Participate in test planning, estimation, and risk analysis activities. 

·      Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance product quality. 

Required Qualifications

·       Certification in Tricentis Automation including: Automation Specialist Test Design Specialist Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 

·      Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. 

·      High attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality software.

·       Preferred Qualifications Experience with qTest and Applitools. 

·      Certification as a software testing professional such as ISTQB or CSTE. 

·      Knowledge of web penetration testing techniques. 

·      Experience working with additional testing tools and frameworks. 

·      Knowledge of SQL and database validation.
