Blast Engineer (security plans/ up to 5.5k/ 5 days)

Job Responsibilities

The main responsibility is to do blast analyses and propose security plans integrating operations and technology solutions with protective designs and/or blast measures for structural engineering works for the protection of buildings and infrastructures from explosion and dynamic effects (e.g. blast loading)

Requirements:

• A degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering, with at least three (3) years of working experience.
• An understanding on the relevant local building codes
• Knowledge of design and analysis of structures under dynamic loading and Finite Element Modelling
• Knowledge of blast engineering standards such as UFC 3-340-02
• Ability to communicate with people at all levels in both technical and non-technical environments
• Effective written communication and report writing skills in English
• Ability to remain positively motivated at times of significant pressure
• Design and analysis of structures under dynamic loading
• Finite Element
• Produce technical drawings using a specialized software
