Job Overview

We are seeking an EMS Engineer to provide technical support, system design expertise, and deployment solutions for Environmental Management Systems. The role involves customer-facing technical liaison, project implementation, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure successful system integration, operation, and optimization. Site visits may be required to implement and commission solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Application Deployment & Design

• Lead the implementation of EMS systems, ensuring compliance with customer specifications

• Develop, review, and secure approval for basic and detailed designs of integrated EMS solutions

• Optimize system design using the company’s product portfolio to maximize project efficiency and minimize technical risks

Customer Engagement & Technical Support

• Act as the technical liaison for customers, providing clarification and resolving technical queries

• Participate in customer meetings, Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), and system testing to ensure alignment with customer expectations

• Provide technical presentations, including 3D representations of components, tooling, and proposed systems

• Support cost estimation and proposal preparation by analyzing schematics, plans, and related documents

Engineering Documentation & System Integration

• Produce essential engineering outputs: system architecture, subsystem interface points, control panel drawings, equipment schedules, operation descriptions, and system configurations

• Develop CAD models (solid and surface) and detailed bills of materials for proposals

• Understand and validate all technical decisions against design specifications and the Technical Design Process

Project Execution & Collaboration

• Gain proficiency across all project lifecycle phases: design, integration, testing, FAT, installation, commissioning, and warranty

• Work independently and collaboratively with engineering, design, and operations teams across Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, and Fire services

• Manage stakeholder relationships to ensure alignment and successful project delivery

Requirements

• Knowledge of EMS / Electrical / Mechanical / Plumbing / Fire systems

• Ability to understand EMS system design requirements, including chillers, heat exchangers, ACMV, lighting, and power metering

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

• Familiarity with building automation platforms such as EcoStruxure™ Building Operation, Distech Controls, Johnson Controls, Honeywell, Moxa

• Experience creating and editing mechanical and electrical drawings using AutoCAD and VISIO

• Ability to program Electronic DDC / PLC control systems using Functional Block Diagrams

• Knowledge of instrumentation, sensors, and field communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, BACnet, DNP3)

• Understanding of TCP/IP networking and protocols

• Knowledge of Electrical/Mechanical/Plumbing/Fire services is an advantage

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and customer service skills

• Salary: Up to SGD 5,000 basic (3–5 years experience) + Variable Bonus

• Location: MacPherson Road, Singapore

  • Monday – Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

  • Saturday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
