Job Description
AI Automation Engineer (Airtable + Make.com + AI Integration)
Scope of Work
1. Design and build a database using Airtable to manage:
- Projects
- Furniture bill of materials (BOM)
- Supplier database
- Purchase orders
- Order status tracking
2. Create automation workflows using Make.com to:
- Read furniture lists from proposals or spreadsheets
- Extract items, quantities, and pricing
- Save records into Airtable tables
- Automatically generate purchase orders
- Send purchase orders to suppliers via email
- Track delivery status and update records
3. Integrate AI (ChatGPT API or similar) to help extract furniture lists from proposal documents when needed.
4. Build a simple dashboard showing:
- Purchase order status
- Supplier tracking
- Project procurement progress
Deliverables
- Airtable base structure
- Make.com automation workflows
- Purchase order generation system
- Documentation explaining how the system works
- Training session for our team
Required Experience
- Strong experience with Airtable database design
- Strong experience with Make.com automation
- Experience integrating AI APIs such as ChatGPT
- Experience building business workflow automation
Nice to Have
- Experience with procurement workflows
- Experience with document data extraction
- Experience with CRM or ERP integrations
Project Budget
- Open to proposals depending on experience and scope.
Timeline
- Ideally completed within 2–4 weeks.
