AI Engineer (1-Year Contract)
Contract Period: July 2026 – June 2027
Working Hours:
Monday – Friday: 8:30am – 6:00pm
5-day work week (excluding weekends and Public Holidays)

Role Overview

We are seeking an AI Engineer to design and implement advanced AI solutions on an Enterprise Document Management System (EDMS) platform. The role involves developing and optimising Generative AI and Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions to support intelligent document processing, data transformation, and enterprise search capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, experiment, and implement AI solutions such as RAG chatbots, document intelligence, and data transformation workflows on the EDMS platform.
• Develop and optimise RAG pipelines, including document chunking, embeddings, vector search, and prompt engineering.
• Integrate AI models with data pipelines to support structured data ingestion, cleansing, and database write-back processes.
• Conduct model evaluation, performance monitoring, and accuracy improvement using feedback logs and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with data engineers, product owners, and business stakeholders to translate use cases into scalable AI applications.
• Document AI solution architecture, workflows, data flows, and deployment processes across development stages.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures.
• Proficiency in Python and AI/ML libraries used for Natural Language Processing (NLP), embeddings, and vector databases.
• Experience working with data platforms, data pipelines, and cloud-based AI environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a hands-on, experimental mindset.
• Good teamwork, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English to collaborate with stakeholders and document technical solutions.
