Banking & Payments Business Analyst

Responsibilities

• Engage with business stakeholders to gather and analyze client requirements, identify dependencies, and support prioritization.

• Develop and elaborate user stories, manage backlog creation and grooming, and define acceptance criteria and test cases.

• Communicate and clarify user stories to development teams, facilitating sprint planning and review sessions.

• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and maintain strong working relationships.

• Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation, including Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and Functional Specification Documents (FSD).

• Demonstrate strong analytical thinking and the ability to adapt to evolving market approaches and technological developments.

• Apply structured problem-solving skills to address complex business and technical challenges.

Essential Requirements (Skills & Experience)

• Minimum 8 years of IT experience, with at least 5 years in Banking and Payments domain projects.

• Mandatory experience in Transaction Banking – Cash Management.

• Proven experience delivering projects using Agile methodology.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work with multicultural teams.

• Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to decompose complex problems into manageable components for effective solutions.

Good to Have

• Experience with Finastra products (Fusion Corporate Channels).

• Knowledge of Corporate Payment Products within the ASEAN region.

• Understanding of Core Banking systems.

Technical / Professional Skills

• Prior Business Analyst (BA) experience in banking or financial services environments.
