The Opportunity

Adecco is partnering with US Tech MNC to look for a Senior Backend Engineer.
This role is responsible to build and maintain scalable, high-quality Java Spring-based microservices and APIs for cloud-based platforms while ensuring performance, reliability, and automation in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

The Talent

Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot/MVC/Data, and dependency injection.
Experience with RESTful APIs, SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) and optionally NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis).
Familiarity with microservices architecture, distributed systems, and concurrency patterns in Java.
Knowledge of build tools (Maven, Gradle), Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito).
Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ), Spring Security/OAuth2, and service mesh/API gateways.
Strong grasp of design patterns, algorithms, data structures, and scalable application design principles.
Experience with database schema design and API-first/DevSecOps practices.

At least 6 years of experience building applications, preferably on the Java Spring stack.
Experience with cloud-based SaaS/PaaS products.
Ability to analyze, articulate, and evaluate solutions, and switch between programming languages/tools as needed.
