Application Infrastructure Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to ensure timely execution of setup tasks.
• Track progress and follow up on infrastructure-related activities and issues
• Assist in coordinating Operating System upgrades across environments.
• Support the scheduling and execution of patching activities and help document upgrade and patching procedures
• Coordinate the setup of Connect: Direct for secure file transfers with other application and assist in SSH key generation and setup for secure access.
• Ensure proper documentation of connectivity configurations
• Support the creation and monitoring of Control-M jobs.Work with relevant teams to gather job requirements and dependencies.Maintain logs and reports of job executions and failures.
• Help provision and configure development, testing, and production environments.Ensure environment readiness by coordinating with relevant stakeholders.

• Requirement:
  Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Basic understanding of operating systems and IT infrastructure and Network concepts.
• Analysis and troubleshooting skills in handling incident and issues.
• At least 4 years working technical experience in setting up infra, connectivity in banking environment
• Familiarity with Windows systems and exposure to job scheduling tools like Control-M.
• Basic knowledge of SQL scripting, PowerShell and batch script
• Understanding of secure file transfer protocols and SSH, Connect Direct
• Understanding of DevOps, Jenkins, Big Bucket
• Experience working on Linux/Unix platforms, Shell scripting
• Experience with databases like MSSQL and Oracle
• Experience in Dev-Ops concepts and tools
• Experience in designing and implementing integration with MQ, microservices and high-volume batch processing.
• Experience source control and release management tools.
