Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Management

• Lead the end-to-end SAP project lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, and project closure.

• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies.

• Ensure project delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.

SAP Implementation & Delivery

• Manage SAP implementation, upgrade, migration, and enhancement projects.

• Coordinate activities across functional and technical SAP teams.

• Ensure adherence to SAP Activate or Agile project methodologies.

Stakeholder Management

• Work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors to gather requirements and define project scope.

• Provide regular project updates to senior management and clients.

• Manage expectations and ensure alignment with business goals.

Risk & Issue Management

• Identify potential project risks, issues, and dependencies.

• Develop mitigation strategies and resolve project escalations effectively.

• Maintain project documentation and reporting.

Team Leadership

• Lead cross-functional teams including SAP consultants, developers, and support staff.

• Ensure effective collaboration and communication among team members.

• Provide guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.

Quality & Compliance

• Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and compliance requirements.

• Oversee testing activities including UAT, system testing, and integration testing.

• Ensure proper documentation and knowledge transfer.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.

• 8–12 years of experience in SAP implementations, including 3–5 years in project management roles.

• Experience managing large-scale SAP projects across multiple modules.

• Strong knowledge of SAP project implementation methodologies (SAP Activate, ASAP, Agile).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations or migrations.

• Knowledge of SAP modules such as SAP FICO, MM, SD, HCM, or SuccessFactors.

• Experience managing global or multi-country SAP projects.

Certifications

• SAP Project Manager Certification (Preferred)

• PMP (Project Management Professional) or PRINCE2 Certification (Preferred)
