Quantity Surveyor

Quantity Surveyor (QS) Location: Woodlands, Singapore Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: $2,400 – $3,500 per month Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quantity Surveyor. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in cost management, contract administration, and project coordination within the construction industry. Working Hours: Monday – Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Saturday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM Key Responsibilities • Allocate and manage work packages for contractors and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution. • Prepare cost estimates, tender submissions, and contract documentation in compliance with building and construction regulations. • Monitor and control project costs in accordance with contract terms and relevant construction law. • Conduct negotiations and manage variations, claims, and scope adjustments during project execution. • Perform detailed cost analysis and implement cost-control strategies to enhance project value. • Provide professional advice on contractual matters, claims, and risk management. • Ensure compliance with applicable standards, regulations, and project specifications. Requirements • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as a Quantity Surveyor. • Strong knowledge of tendering processes, cost control, and contract administration. • Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving capabilities. • Experience working with regional stakeholders in Malaysia will be an advantage. • This role requires proficiency in Mandarin (spoken and written) to liaise with Mandarin-speaking contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.
