Project Manager

1. Responsibilities
3. Ensure overall success of a project, or a portfolio of projects, by ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, meet business requirements and comply with governance framework, including security and resiliency.
4. Manage and monitor project plan, project milestones, risk and change management to ensure delivery of the project on schedule, within scope and budget.
5. Plan and manage the scope of the project, its objectives and desired outcomes, and ensure alignment of project to the business outcomes of the Authority.
6. Plan and lead the development of the business case/concept paper and funding.
7. Plan and lead the overall procurement activities, in particular Tender Specifications compilation, tendering, tender evaluation, recommendation C award.
8. Lead the development of the overall project schedule C activities based on the appropriate methodology including identifying dependency, critical path, milestones and deliverables.
9. Build comprehensive work plan and ensure all team members are on-board with delegated tasks and activities.
10. Conduct regular work group meetings and provide project progress and status reports to stakeholders.
11. Perform stakeholder management, including keeping the relevant stakeholders informed of the project status on a timely and regular basis.
12. Manage processes and procedures covering issue and risk management.

What we are looking for

Infrastructure specialization

2. Proven ICT project management experience, preferably in medium to large scale ICT projects in government sector.
3. Experience in IT Infra Project Management (Systems, Cloud, Network, Facilities, Data Center).
4. Possess a proven and successful track record in delivering complex IT projects/programs.
5. Develop and manage a comprehensive project plan for the migration, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
6. Coordinate with internal IT teams, government stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure smooth execution of the migration process.
7. Conduct thorough assessments of current systems and applications to determine migration readiness and potential challenges.
8. Oversee the design and implementation of the new infrastructure in the government data centre.
9. Manage the migration of data, applications, and systems, ensuring data integrity and security throughout the process.
10. Develop and implement testing protocols to verify system functionality post- migration.
11. Create and maintain project documentation, including progress reports, change management logs, and lessons learned.
12. Ensure compliance with government regulations and security standards throughout the migration process.
13. Provide regular updates to senior management and key stakeholders on project progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.
