About the Opportunity

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of landed residential construction projects in Singapore. The successful candidate will lead site operations, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with regulatory requirements and quality standards.
This role offers the opportunity to work on high-quality landed residential developments such as terrace houses, semi-detached houses, and bungalows, while collaborating with architects, engineers, consultants, and contractors to deliver successful projects.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership

·      Lead and manage the entire construction lifecycle of landed residential projects from ground-breaking to completion, ensuring adherence to schedule, budget, and quality standards.

Site & Team Management

·      Oversee site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers, while providing guidance and mentorship to project engineers and site coordinators.

Budget & Cost Control

·      Monitor project costs, evaluate progress claims, manage variations, and optimize resource allocation to ensure cost efficiency.

Schedule Management

·      Develop and monitor detailed project schedules using project management tools. Identify risks and implement corrective actions to maintain project timelines.

Stakeholder Coordination

·      Act as the key liaison between clients, architects, engineers, consultants, and contractors to ensure smooth communication and efficient problem resolution.

Quality Assurance & Safety

·      Conduct site inspections to ensure workmanship meets project specifications and enforce safety standards in accordance with local construction regulations.

Regulatory Compliance

·      Coordinate closely with Qualified Persons (Architects and Engineers) to ensure all works comply with approved plans and regulatory requirements.

Documentation & Reporting

·      Prepare progress reports, site meeting minutes, and project documentation for management and client reporting.

Requirements

Education

·      Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

Experience

·      Minimum 12 years of construction experience with significant experience managing landed residential projects such as terrace houses, semi-detached houses, or bungalows.

Technical Skills

·      Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Excel, or equivalent software.

·      Strong understanding of construction practices, building regulations, and safety standards in Singapore.
