Job Description

Key Responsibilities

•      Define product vision and roadmap; translate business goals into a prioritised backlog

•      Drive end-to-end product development: PRDs, user stories, sprint planning, and acceptance criteria

•      Manage and coordinate a distributed engineering team

•      Conduct customer discovery, gather feedback, and iterate rapidly toward product-market fit

•      Own go-to-market planning: beta programmes, onboarding, documentation, and pricing strategy

•      Align internal stakeholders (CEO, CTO, BD) and external partners on priorities

•      Monitor product KPIs and user data; drive continuous improvement based on evidence

•      Track industry and regulatory trends relevant to the fintech and financial services landscape

Requirements

•      5-10 years of product management experience

•      Proven track record of taking a product from 0 to 1 in a startup or scale-up environment

•      Experience managing or coordinating engineering teams

•      Strong skills in requirements documentation, backlog management, and Agile/Scrum execution

•      Data-driven mindset; comfortable with product analytics, A/B testing, and success metrics

•      Excellent communication in English; Mandarin proficiency strongly preferred

•      Background in fintech, payments, compliance, or financial services preferred

•      Technical fluency: able to read API docs, evaluate build-vs-buy decisions, and engage credibly with engineers

Nice to Have

•      Experience with AI/ML-powered products or embedding AI capabilities into product workflows

•      Familiarity with KYC, AML, or financial crime compliance domains

•      Prior exposure to RegTech vendor ecosystems or API-based compliance integrations
