Network Engineer (SolarWinds)

Responsibilities

• Execute SolarWinds version upgrades and install SolarWinds agents to enhance monitoring capabilities and system stability
• Onboard all network devices and servers to SolarWinds, ensuring comprehensive infrastructure visibility and management
• Collaborate with Server, Network, and Database teams to configure devices within monitoring systems, driving seamless integration and proactive issue detection
• Manage SolarWinds infrastructure to maintain optimal performance and reliability across the IT environment
• Utilize expertise in Windows Server 2012/2016 and RHEL 6.x/7.x operating systems to support monitoring and device management
• Apply knowledge of MSSQL 2014/2016 databases to support backend monitoring and data integrity
• Leverage virtualization platforms ESX and Nutanix to monitor virtualized environments effectively
• Support application platforms including JAVA and .NET by ensuring their components are monitored and managed within SolarWinds
• Apply basic networking knowledge to troubleshoot and optimize network device monitoring configurations
