Cloud Operation Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee the operations and management of data center sites in China and overseas, ensuring stable, secure, and efficient operation of cloud data center infrastructure.

• Manage daily operations and maintenance of data center facilities, including availability management, capacity planning, incident response, disaster recovery, fire safety, and physical security.

• Implement and enforce standardized data center operational processes and internal control standards to maintain a safe, reliable, and high-availability operating environment for IT equipment.

• Plan and coordinate data center resource utilization to continuously improve service quality, enhance operational efficiency, and optimize Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).

• Support data center project operations, including site surveys, capacity planning, onsite implementation coordination, acceptance testing, and participation in project solution reviews.

• Manage and oversee vendors and service providers, including performance monitoring and service quality improvement to ensure effective operational support.

• Collaborate closely with internal teams, business units, campuses, and external partners to ensure smooth operations and successful delivery of business objectives.

• To collaborate and communicate directly with Chinese speaking officers, stakeholders, counterparts, and customers in China HQ team

Job Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in cloud operations, data center operations, infrastructure operations, or related technical environments.

• Practical experience supporting the construction, commissioning, or maintenance of multiple data center projects or infrastructure deployments.

• Familiarity with data center industry standards such as TIA-942 or equivalent international standards, as required for operational support.

• Proficiency in Mandarin is essential to ensure effective communication with the Chinese-speaking stakeholders, including head office, business counterparts, and customers based in China.
