DevOps and FullStack Engineer

Our client, one of Asia-Pacific’s leading organizations is looking for:
DevOps and FullStack Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Analysts, Solution Architects and QA Engineers to design and deliver secure, scalable and high-performing data platform and backend solutions.
• Design, build and optimise scalable data pipelines (batch and near real-time), including data ingestion, transformation, orchestration and data quality controls to support operational and analytical use cases.
• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs to enable secure data access, integration and interoperability across systems.
• Support the implementation and integration of enterprise data platforms, including operational data stores, data lakes and data virtualisation solutions within a cloud-native environment.
• Work with AWS-native services (e.g. ECS/Fargate, API Gateway, Lambda, S3, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch) to deploy and manage data and application workloads securely and efficiently.
• Design, implement and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines, integrating automated testing, security scanning (e.g. SAST, dependency scanning, container scanning) and policy checks into build and deployment workflows
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g. Terraform or CloudFormation), ensuring secure configurations, least-privilege access controls and environment isolation across SIT, UAT and PROD environments.

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information/ Infocomm Technology, Computer or Electronics Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in software / data engineering, DevSecOps or related roles, with hands-on involvement in at least 2–3 Agile full project delivery lifecycles.
• Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS (experience with Government Commercial Cloud (GCC) is advantageous).
• Proven experience in DevOps and CI/CD implementation using tools such as GitLab, Jira, Confluence, SonarQube or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform and/or CloudFormation.
• Good understanding of cloud-native architectures, microservices architecture, containerisation technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes) and modern application deployment patterns.
• Hands-on programming and scripting experience in one or more languages such as Python, Node.js, C#, JavaScript or TypeScript. Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks (e.g. React) is advantageous.
• Experience in building and integrating APIs, including authentication and authorization mechanisms such as JWT, JWKS, OAuth, Cognito or equivalent identity solutions.
• Practical experience or working knowledge in data engineering, including data transformation, data pipeline concepts, data flow orchestration, and working with enterprise data platforms such as data lakes, operational data stores or data virtualisation platforms.
• Experience supporting secure software delivery, including secure coding practices, vulnerability management and compliance with enterprise security policies.
• Experience working in enterprise or regulated environments; experience in government or public sector environments will be advantageous.
• Good understanding of enterprise IT governance, digital service adoption and secure system operations.
• Experience working with emerging technologies such as Large Language Models (e.g. OpenAI, Amazon Q, Gemini) will be an added advantage.
