Software Engineer - EPL (Contractual | Software Testing)

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive test plans, design detailed test cases, and execute both manual and automated tests to ensure software quality.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT) across various platforms including driver software, firmware, web, and desktop applications.
• Identify, document, and track defects using defect management tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla) and follow through to resolution.
• Conduct test monitoring, control, and process improvements to enhance software reliability and QA efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers to ensure product quality throughout the development lifecycle.
• Provide clear and comprehensive test documentation, reports, and test evidence.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies, testing tools, and industry best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Solid experience in testing driver software, firmware, web, and desktop applications.
• Strong experience in test planning, test case formulation, test execution, defect tracking, and process improvement.
• Hands-on experience with QA tools such as Selenium, Postman, JIRA, TestRail, or equivalent.
• Familiarity with SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and documentation skills.
• Ability to perform under pressure and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced business environment.
• Eager to learn with a demonstrated ability to quickly grasp new technologies.
