• Carry out quantity take-off for project which includes sourcing for supplier and sub-contractor, collate price for comparison
• Prepare tender and contract documents
• Prepare and analyse costings for tender
• Prepare letter of award to subcontractors and verify claims and cost control
• Perform risk, value management and cost control
• Responsible for collecting, sorting, check other bidding calculation of quantities
• Accountable for reviewing tender documents, drawings and quantity taking-off
• Sourcing of Subcontractors and suppliers
• Evaluation of price comparison
• Estimation for variations submissions
• Monitoring of project variations
• Valuing completed works and preparing subcontractor’s payment
• Attendance of site/technical meetings including preparation of debrief
• Conducting site measurements
• Review and understand all plans and specifications
• Arranging meetings with subcontractors and suppliers to review the specifications, scope of works and method of construction if required
• Preparation of Tender Queries
• Ad-Hoc duties as assigned
• Job Requirements
• Possess a degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying or Building or its equivalent
• At least 1- 2 year of working experience in general building and A&A projects is an advantage.
• Strong interpersonal, communication & negotiation skills
• Familiar with construction cost and construction works
• Able to work independently with minimum guidance and under pressure to meet tight deadlines and as a team with other quantity surveyors
• Good verbal and written communication skills
