Software and Firmware Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join our growing startup team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications, while taking ownership of end-to-end product development in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy full stack web applications

• Lead backend and frontend development efforts with high code quality

• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and application services

• Collaborate closely with product, UI/UX, and business stakeholders

• Participate in architecture and technical design discussions

• Review code and mentor junior engineers

• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize system performance

• Ensure application security, scalability, and reliability

• Support CI/CD pipelines, cloud deployment, and production operations

• Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering practices

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field

• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant software development experience

• Strong experience in frontend technologies (React / Angular / Vue, HTML, CSS, JavaScript / TypeScript)

• Strong backend development experience (Node.js / Java / Python / C#)

• Experience with databases (MySQL / PostgreSQL / MongoDB)

• Familiar with software architecture, design patterns, and RESTful APIs

• Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows

• Good problem-solving and analytical skills

Preferred Skills (Added Advantage)

• Experience working in startup or fast-paced product environments
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)

• Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines

• Knowledge of microservices architecture
