Platform Engineer – DevSecOps – Singapore

We are seeking a Platform Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will implement platforms and automation solutions that empower developers, ensure compliance, and drive operational excellence. You will play a pivotal role in streamlining development workflows, enhancing platform reliability, and embedding observability and governance into our infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement automation tools and scripts to reduce manual effort and accelerate delivery pipelines.
• Develop reusable automation patterns for common development and deployment tasks.
• Monitor and maintain CI/CD pipelines, build agents, and automation scripts to ensure high availability and optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in automation workflows, runners, and infrastructure components.
• Develop mechanisms to automatically provision monitoring, logging, and alerting for new services and projects.
• Integrate observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK) into deployment workflows.
• Drive work item and issue resolution within the DevSecOps team.
• Coordinate implementation efforts between DevSecOps and application teams.
• Partner with developers and system administrators to understand their needs and provide support.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve deployment speed and reliability.
• Document automation processes, onboarding guides, and troubleshooting steps.

An Ideal Candidate:

• 5+ years of experience in development, DevOps, or system administration.
• Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with site reliability engineering (SRE) practices.
• Experience designing and deploying containerised applications.
• Some form of leadership experience, e.g., mentoring or leading a small team.

Technical Skills

• Strong development background, preferably in .NET Core and ReactJS
• Proficient in automation scripting with Python, Shell, and PowerShell
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD platforms such as Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog

This is a 1 year contract to start, renewable and convertible to permanent.
