Responsibilities

Operate and support a Cloud File Transfer (CFT) platform in AWS, ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability.
Own Level 2 incident management, including troubleshooting and escalation, and work closely with engineering and security teams to resolve issues within SLAs.
Manage and optimise AWS infrastructure for scalability, security, and cost efficiency.
Maintain operational processes such as runbooks, monitoring dashboards, health checks, and incident reporting.
Support change and release activities, including impact assessment, risk mitigation, and system upgrades.
Contribute to platform improvements, bug fixes, and operational tooling to enhance reliability and maintainability.

Requirements

Degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent hands-on experience.
4 years of experience supporting production workloads in AWS or similar public cloud environments.
Hands on experience with AWS cloud services and architecture, Terraform (infrastructure as code).
Hands on experience with GitLab or similar CI/CD tools
Strong troubleshooting skills across cloud infrastructure and distributed systems.
Experience managing production incidents and operational processes.
Understanding of change management and service reliability practices.
