Job Description

We are a Singapore engineering company specialising in wholesale trading. Due to expansion, we are seeking a proactive and experienced IT Assistant Manager to support the strategic planning, coordination, and implementation of technology systems across the organisation.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning, execution, and monitoring of IT projects, including ERP system implementations and upgrades.
  • Liaise with external IT service providers and outsourcing partners to ensure service delivery, SLA compliance, and project timelines.
  • Identify and apply for relevant IT-related government grants; manage end-to-end grant submission, documentation, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with various departments to align IT initiatives with business goals and operational needs.
  • Provide second-level support for IT issues and escalate complex problems as needed.
  • Maintain and improve IT infrastructure, systems security, and compliance.
  • Document system processes, configurations, and user guides to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity.
  • Monitor IT budgets, procurement, and vendor performance in collaboration with the IT Manager.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
  • Relevant IT experience
  • Experience with ERP system implementations (optional)
  • Familiarity with government IT grant schemes
  • Strong experience working with IT outsourcing vendors and service management
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders under tight timelines
