Role Overview
The Deputy Chief Financial Officer, Global Operations will lead and transform the company’s overseas finance organization to support its next phase of accelerated global expansion.
This role is responsible for establishing a unified global finance governance framework, strengthening capital allocation discipline, leading investment and M&A initiatives, and building a high-performing Global FP&A function based in Singapore.
The successful candidate will act as a strategic financial partner to the Group CFO, CEO, and global business leaders, ensuring scalable, controlled, and sustainable growth across multiple countries and business units.
Key Responsibilities
1. Global Finance Governance & Leadership
Directly oversee Finance Heads across the United States, Brazil, India, Vietnam, Turkey, France, Taiwan, Korea, Finland, Singapore, and Hong Kong.
Establish and standardize global financial governance frameworks, including:
Capex approval authority and capital discipline
Internal controls and risk management standards
Cross-border decision-making processes
Cash and working capital oversight
Strengthen financial visibility, accountability, and performance transparency across regions.
Drive the transition from compliance-driven finance to strategic, governance-oriented finance.
2. Global FP&A and Strategic Financial Management
Build and lead a Global FP&A and Investment Core team in Singapore.
Oversee:
Group-wide budgeting and rolling forecasts
Long-term financial planning
Global cash flow management
ROCE and capital efficiency analysis
Multi-country profitability modeling
Ensure Finance-first review of major business decisions, including factory expansions, customer pricing, capacity planning, and regional transfers.
3. Investment, M&A, and Post-Merger Integration (PMI)
Lead and review mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures, asset acquisitions, and divestitures.
Take ownership of post-merger financial integration and standardization.
Align investment decisions with long-term strategic and capital return objectives.
Standardize financial reporting, cost structures, and accounting methodologies across acquired entities.
4. Global Capital & Treasury Strategy
Partner closely with the Hong Kong Treasury Center to optimize:
Global cash management
Funding structures and debt management
Liquidity planning
Foreign exchange risk management
Design and refine global capital structures to support multi-country expansion over the next five years.
Position Singapore as the Global Capital & Governance Hub.
Qualifications & Experience
10+ years of senior finance leadership experience in a multinational corporation.
Prior experience as Regional CFO, Global Finance Head, Deputy CFO, or equivalent.
Strong background in multinational manufacturing, industrial, or hardware technology businesses.
Demonstrated experience managing multi-country finance teams.
Proven track record in M&A and post-merger integration.
Deep understanding of both emerging markets (e.g., India, Vietnam, Brazil) and mature markets (U.S., Europe).
CPA, CFA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
Ability to travel internationally approximately 50%.
Strong leadership presence, executive communication skills, and high level of business acumen.
