Job Summary

The Principal Technical Consultant serves as the key functional and technical expert on customer engagement teams, guiding clients and configuring ServiceNow integrations using best practices to drive business outcomes. They design and implement seamless integrations between ServiceNow and third-party systems, leveraging strong programming skills across multiple languages and frameworks. As expert problem solvers, they troubleshoot issues, provide ongoing support, and develop processes for managing complex system interactions. They are instrumental in delivering transformative integration architectures that enable AI solutions on the platform.

Key Responsibilities:

●       Experience in integrating AI into workflows, decision-making, or problem-solving, including using AI tools, automating processes, and analyzing AI-driven insights.

●       Develop integration strategies and architecture plans for system integrations.

●       Implement and support ServiceNow AI features such as Virtual Agent, NLU, AI Search, Task Intelligence, Generative AI, and related capabilities.

●       Design end-to-end solution architectures integrated with enterprise systems like SAP, Workday, and Salesforce. Drive platform rationalization, instance strategy, and compliance with data residency and regulatory requirements.

●       Design solutions based on user requirements gathered during workshops and coordinate with developers to ensure cohesive integration and platform functionality.

●       Ensure adherence to integration best practices and act as an SME to resolve complex issues related to integrations and AI solutions.

●       Collaborate in solution positioning, estimation, and proposal creation to support pre-sales and customer advisory activities.

●       Identify and resolve data conflicts, debug system errors, and optimize instance configurations for future scalability and performance.

 

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, we need someone who has:

●       Minimum 10 years’ experience in complex ServiceNow configuration, development, and integrations.

●       Proven ability to consult and influence stakeholders by presenting clear options with risks and benefits in diverse customer environments.

●       Certifications: ServiceNow Technical Architect preferred. CSA, CAD, and multiple CIS required.

●       Experience as a technical lead on engagements, including architecting integrations and creating high-level system diagrams.

●       Deep expertise with integration technologies such as REST/SOAP web services, middleware, LDAP, SSO, JDBC, IDR, Remote Tables, and SaaS platforms.

●       Understanding of AI, deep learning, and large language models, with emphasis on Generative AI and ServiceNow AI capabilities (Predictive Intelligence, AI Search, Virtual Agent).

●       Proficient in ServiceNow development tools: Studio IDE, Mobile, Automated Test Framework, Flow Designer, Source Control, APIs, and integrations.

●       Strong knowledge of ServiceNow scripting, data models, and integration best practices

●       Understanding of ITIL, enterprise architecture, and digital transformation trends

●       Experience configuring chat tools including Connect, Agent Chat, and Virtual Agent.

●       Proven leadership in mentoring and developing team talent.

●       Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently

●       Proven ability to lead client-facing workshops and translate business needs into platform capabilities. Proven track record of leading multi-domain ServiceNow implementations globally.

●       Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
