DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a DevOps Engineer with strong experience in open-source platform operations, Elasticsearch/Kibana, and Python-based FastAPI development. The role focuses on Kubernetes deployments, CI/CD automation, API integrations, and ensuring secure, reliable production systems.

Mandatory Skill-set

• Strong hands-on experience with Elasticsearch and Kibana in production environments;
• Must have Python development experience, including building REST APIs using FastAPI;
• Solid experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and containerized workloads;
• Expertise in CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps);
• Strong Linux systems administration and troubleshooting skills;
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Helm, Ansible);
• Knowledge of networking and security fundamentals (TLS, DNS, RBAC, authentication).

Desired Skill-set

• Experience with OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, or advanced observability tooling;
• Background in SRE, Platform Engineering, or OpenSearch / API Gateway solutions.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and operate Elasticsearch, Kibana, and other open-source platforms;
• Design, manage, and scale Elasticsearch clusters, including backups and upgrades;
• Develop and maintain FastAPI-based services for integrations and automation;
• Containerize and deploy applications on Kubernetes with production-grade reliability;
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and GitOps-based deployment workflows;
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using Elastic and observability tools;
• Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents across application and infrastructure layers;
• Enforce security, compliance, and DevSecOps best practices across platforms.
