Senior DevOps Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

DevOps & Automation

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate builds, testing, releases, and deployments.
• Improve infrastructure automation for greater efficiency, reliability, and consistency.

Infrastructure & Operations

• Manage development infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and scalability.
• Monitor systems, troubleshoot issues, and handle day-to-day operational requests.
• Perform system administration across development environments.

Security & Compliance

• Enforce security policies and operational controls for on-premise infrastructure.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, compliance monitoring, and manage backup and DR strategies.

Collaboration & Improvement

• Work closely with development and security teams to enhance delivery speed, reliability, and security.
• Drive continuous improvement in DevOps practices and stay current with emerging technologies.

Requirements:

• 3+ years’ experience in GitLab (administration and usage) and Linux system administration.
• Strong knowledge of DevOps/DevSecOps, SDLC, and CI/CD with Docker.
• Experience in infrastructure provisioning, system monitoring, networking, and security.
• Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Python, or PowerShell).
• Experience with virtualised infrastructure and platforms such as Proxmox is an added advantage.
