Job Description

Company Overview / Employee Value Proposition

Kenyon Pte Ltd was founded in 1988 to undertake mechanical and electrical (M&E) projects for chemical and petrochemical process companies. Over the years, we have consolidated our experiences and expertise and moved into more capital and knowledge intensive projects. We have also established regional offices in China, in Suzhou, Chengdu and Tianjin, to support our growing operations there. Today, our group includes more than 150 experienced engineers and designers undertaking projects incorporate renovation, M&E works, and high-purity piping. Our client includes banks, trading houses, electronic industry, life sciences, chemical plants and special high purity gas industries with a focus in corporate renovation and bio-pharmaceutical plant construction. Kenyon also fabricates pharmaceutical modular process skids, ultra high purity gas blending panels and manufactures ETFE coated ducts and dampers. Kenyon aims to be a one-stop solutions provider for all its clients’ engineering needs. We currently have a staff in excess of 900, half in Singapore and the remainder in our 3 Chinese offices in Suzhou, Chengdu and Tianjin.

Job Summary

A BIM/CAD Engineer with agentic AI skills bridges traditional digital construction with autonomous systems by developing AI agents that automate repetitive tasks, optimize designs, and manage complex data to drive innovation and efficiency in construction projects.

Responsibilities

  • Develop AI agents that automatically generate 2D drawings from 3D BIM models to streamline design workflows
  • Build autonomous agents that detect clashes in Navisworks models and propose actionable solutions to improve project coordination
  • Configure Large Language Model (LLM)-driven bots to query and retrieve project documentation, enhancing information accessibility and decision-making
  • Apply mastery of Autodesk Revit (Architecture, Structures, MEP), AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Bentley Systems to produce accurate and compliant BIM models
  • Implement BIM processes and manage data according to ISO 19650 standards to ensure consistency and quality across project stages
  • Utilize structural, electrical, and mechanical engineering principles to inform and validate BIM and CAD designs
  • Write and maintain Python scripts to automate design tasks, build AI agents, and integrate APIs for enhanced functionality
  • Employ agentic AI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, or CrewAI to enable agent communication and task planning
  • Integrate Large Language Models (e.g., GPT-4, Claude) for reasoning, data analysis, and generation of design documentation and code
  • Teach AI agents to use external tools including APIs, CAD software plugins, and databases to extend automation capabilities
  • Use AI to perform automated design reviews by analyzing models, detecting design risks, and verifying compliance with standards
  • Leverage generative design techniques to automate design iterations optimizing spatial layouts and piping routes
  • Develop custom Revit plugins and automate complex modeling routines using Dynamo, Python, or C# to enhance BIM functionality
  • Extract and analyze data from BIM models using scripts and AI agents to support predictive scheduling and cost estimation
  • Deploy AI agents and related systems using containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for scalable solutions
  • Manage codebases collaboratively using Git version control to ensure code quality and team coordination
  • Design and implement API-driven, asynchronous, and event-driven system architectures to support robust AI agent operations

Required competencies and certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, Architecture, M&E, Computer Science, or Artificial Intelligence
  • 2-5+ years of experience in the Architecture, Engineering, Construction, and Operations (AECO) industry with progressive exposure to automation
  • Certifications in Autodesk Revit, Civil 3D, or specialized AI/Machine Learning courses

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Experience with agentic AI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, or CrewAI
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Knowledge of advanced BIM data management and ISO 19650 standards implementation
