HRIS Business Analyst - Banking & Finance Industry

Summary

The HRIS Business Analyst is responsible foroverseeing, optimizing, and advancing Human Resources Information Systems inthe Bank. Leveraging extensive industry experience and deep HRIS expertise,this role ensures HR technology supports operational excellence, regulatorycompliance, and data integrity. The HRIS Business Analyst partners withRegional HR CoE’s, IT, Country HR and business units to deliver robust,scalable HRIS solutions tailored to the complex needs of the financial sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end analysis, design, and implementation of HRIS enhancements, integrations, and new functionalities specific to banking and finance.
• Act as a subject matter expert on HRIS best practices, data security, and regulatory compliance (e.g., SOX, GDPR) for financial institutions.
• Support large-scale HRIS implementation, including system migrations, upgrades, and integrations with payroll, benefits, and compliance platforms.
• Drive data conversion and ensure the highest standards of data integrity, confidentiality, and compliance with industry regulations.
• Develop, interpret, and present complex HRIS reports and analytics to support workforce planning, compensation, and strategic HR initiatives.
• Provide expert-level support, training, and documentation for HRIS users across HR, payroll, risk, and compliance teams.
• Collaborate with external vendors and internal IT teams to resolve technical issues, optimize system performance, and drive innovation.
• Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements and automation opportunities within HRIS and related HR functions.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes to ensure HRIS solutions remain compliant and competitive.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degreein Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.

• Minimum 10 years of progressive HRIS experience, with at least 3 years in banking or financial services.

• In-depth knowledge of leading HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, Oracle HCM, SAP SuccessFactors) and their application in the financial sector. Workday implementation experience preferred.

• Demonstrated success managing complex HRIS projects, system integrations, and process improvements.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.

• Expertise in regulatory compliance, data security, and risk management with in financial services.
