The Company

Our client is a leading insurance organisation undergoing a major business and technology transformation. We’re looking for a hands-on IT Project Manager with a consultative mindset to bridge the gap across multiple active workstreams, driving day-to-day execution, governance, and stakeholder alignment.

The Role

• Partner with the Programme Director and workstream leads to drive the successful delivery of a large-scale technology transformation programme.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans across key phases, including blueprinting, testing, data migration and change management activities.
• Coordinate and monitor progress across multiple workstreams, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and priorities remain on track.
• Prepare and facilitate regular project and stakeholder updates, highlighting key milestones, dependencies, risks, and outstanding actions.
• Proactively identify, manage, and escalate risks, issues, and blockers that may impact project delivery.
• Maintain project governance, reporting, and documentation to ensure consistent visibility and effective decision-making.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, QA/UAT testers, developers, and business stakeholders, to drive decisions and resolve challenges.
• Support resource planning and coordinate teams to ensure the appropriate capabilities are available throughout the project lifecycle.
• Foster strong stakeholder relationships and promote effective communication across both business and technology teams.

Your Profile

• 5-8 years of project management experience.
• Background in platform transformation within banking or insurance, or large-scale IT implementations.
• Insurance industry experience strongly preferred; financial services background considered at minimum.
• Mandarin language proficiency is a strong advantage given the regional stakeholder context.
• A consultative mindset with excellent stakeholder management.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Prior consulting experience or exposure preferred.
• Comfortable working within a hybrid project methodology.
