Job Description

Our client is a leading innovator in the manufacturing sector, dedicated to producing high-quality products. We are looking for a result-oriented Manufacturing Business Analyst to bridge the gap between our business operations and IT teams. You will analyze complex processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend solutions that drive production efficiency and reduce costs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process Optimization: Map and analyze end-to-end manufacturing workflows (e.g., supply chain, shop floor operations, inventory) to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
  • Requirements Gathering: Translate business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements, user stories, and functional specifications.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Develop interactive dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production output, equipment downtime, and quality control.
  • System Implementation: Collaborate with IT and operations to implement, integrate, and optimize manufacturing systems (e.g., ERP, MES, or SCM platforms).
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the primary liaison between plant managers, production teams, and IT developers to ensure tech solutions align with manufacturing goals.
  • Change Management: Facilitate user training and manage the adoption of new software, tools, and optimized workflows across the factory floor.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Tertiary education in IT, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or relevant fields.
  • Experience: 3-4 years of business process analysis experience, ideally within a manufacturing, engineering production, or supply chain environment.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with ERP (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) will be advantageous. Understanding of SDLC, basic programming or scripting will be a big plus.
  • Analytical Mindset: Exceptional requirement gathering and problem-solving skills with the ability to turn complex, raw data into clear, strategic business insights.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders clearly.
