Senior Data Analyst – Regulatory Reporting  (12 Months Contract)

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst to support regulatory reporting, data reconciliation, reporting automation, and analytics initiatives within the banking and financial services sector. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to deliver reporting solutions, enhance reporting processes, and support business and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Support regulatory reporting and reporting control activities.
• Perform data extraction, validation, transformation, and reconciliation of large datasets.
• Analyse banking and financial services data to support reporting and business decision-making.
• Develop and maintain management reports, dashboards, and reporting solutions.
• Support reporting automation and process improvement initiatives.
• Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across reporting outputs.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and deliver solutions.
• Prepare documentation and provide user support for reporting processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Regulatory Reporting, or related functions.
• Minimum 5 years of experience within Banking or Financial Services environments.
• Strong experience supporting regulatory reporting and data reconciliation activities.
• Experience working with cards, payments, risk, portfolio, or financial reporting data.
• Strong SQL and data analysis skills.
• Experience developing management reporting and dashboard solutions using enterprise reporting platforms.
• Experience working with large-scale data environments and reporting systems.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and engage with business users across multiple functions.

Preferred Experience

• Experience supporting reporting automation initiatives.
• Experience working in international banking environments.
• Experience with enterprise data warehouse or data lake platforms.
