Job Description
Job Title: Project Construction Manager (FPSO – EPCI)
Location: Project-based (yard/offshore rotation)
Employment Type: Contract / Staff (Open to permanent hire based on preference)
Job Summary
The Project Construction Manager is responsible for leading and executing all construction activities for FPSO projects across the full project lifecycle (engineering, procurement, fabrication, integration, commissioning, and offshore installation). The role ensures safe, timely, and high-quality delivery aligned with EPCI requirements.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead all construction phases of FPSO projects from yard fabrication to offshore installation
• Manage construction planning, execution strategies, and resource allocation
• Ensure compliance with EPCI schedules, budgets, and quality standards
• Oversee fabrication yards, subcontractors, and construction teams
• Interface with Engineering, Procurement, and Commissioning teams
• Drive HSE performance and ensure zero harm culture
• Monitor construction progress and implement corrective actions
• Manage stakeholder relationships including client, yard, and vendors
• Ensure constructability reviews and optimize site execution
• Lead project reporting and risk mitigation
Requirements
• Minimum 15–20 years of experience in offshore oil & gas construction
• Proven experience across full FPSO project lifecycle (EPCI)
• Strong exposure to FPSO / upstream facilities execution
• Experience managing large-scale construction teams in international yards
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work in high-pressure, schedule-driven environments
• Preferably with prior experience working with major FPSO contractors (e.g., SBM, MODEC, BW Offshore)
