Cards and rewards / loyalty:

  • Issuing covering card issuance and lifecycle management, authorization and transaction processing, clearing and settlement, security and compliance, disputes and chargebacks, digital enablement, etc

  • Acquiring covering merchant onboarding and management, payment acceptance channels, transaction processing, settlement and reconciliation, risk and fraud management, etc

  • Rewards and Loyalty covering program design and management, earn and redeem mechanics, settlement and accounting, analytics and personalization, customer experience, etc

Collections:

  • Collections Lifecycle, Strategy and Segmentation, Payment Arrangements, Analytics and Reporting, etc


Job description:

  • Serve as Domain Architect to implement an updated technology foundation for the bank with full capability/accountability for architecture deliverables (process, information, technology etc.) from concept to implementation

  • Analyze stakeholder requirements, current state architecture, and gaps to create a future state for cards, rewards/loyalty and Collections solution architecture with a focus on reduced complexity, cost efficiencies, reduced risk and/or improved business capabilities

  • Communicate and influence key elements of one or more technology architectures to both technical and business audiences

  • Contribute to architecture definition and road map in Cards, Rewards/Loyalty and Collections domains especially operations re-engineering and digitization

  • Build out the knowledge base of the technology teams on leading trends in the APAC under Cards, Rewards/Loyalty and Collections domains, and IT delivery in general

  • Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders in both business and IT to assist in defining and delivering high quality solutions


Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 years’ experience in the IT industry, preferably in large, complex enterprises

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in banking technology, including familiarization with digitization (Cards, Rewards/Loyalty, Collections)

  • At least 3 years’ experience in Enterprise Architecture in a large, complex, multi-location, multi-national environment

  • Experience in converting Enterprise Architecture Strategy into executable solution architecture

  • Deep experience delivering mission-critical, enterprise-scale IT solutions in a heterogeneous technology environment, both in-house built and 3rd-party vendor products

  • Experience in actual systems development work, with prior coding, functional specifications and technical specifications and systems development and testing experience (in aggregate no less than 5 years)

  • Understanding of at least one programming language, preferably in the Cobol, Java family

  • A deep understanding of all domains of Enterprise Architecture, including the business, data, application, infrastructure and security domains. Able to constructively challenge Enterprise and Solution Architecture for a fault tolerant design

  • Familiarity with one or more formal Architecture frameworks/methodologies (TOGAF, Zachman, BIAN, etc.)

  • Good understanding and experience in various software development cycle methodologies, including migrating from waterfall to agile methodologies

  • Broad-based IT knowledge and experience (Hardware, Software, Middleware, Databases). Solid foundation in service-oriented technologies to be able to understand service interdependencies and drive towards technical solutions for multi-tiered systems

  • Good understanding of Technology Taxonomy (Functional Disposition, Deployment, Performance, Integration Protocols)

  • Good verbal, written and presentation skills to stakeholders at all levels

  • Ability to communicate complex topics in an understandable way using a level of detail and terms appropriate to the situation

  • Capability to think conceptually and identify patterns across seemingly unrelated situations

  • Must be a good team player and able to influence, and drive consensus amongst stakeholders with conflicting viewpoints and objectives

  • Ability to effectively communicate, interact with and influence senior technical associates, business and operational partners and executives
