Senior SAP Project Manager [SAP S/4HANA Implementation & Maintenance}

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with a strong background in managing SAP S/4HANA implementation and maintenance projects. The ideal candidate will oversee end-to-end project delivery, lead cross‑functional teams, manage stakeholders, and ensure high-quality outcomes across both project and operational support environments. This role requires deep SAP program management experience, strong governance skills, and the ability to drive successful delivery in complex, multi‑stakeholder environments.

What will you do? Project Delivery & Governance

 - Lead and manage full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementation projects—from project initiation, planning, and execution to deployment and stabilization.

- Define and manage project scope, timelines, budget, risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Oversee delivery of application maintenance and enhancement workstreams for ongoing S/4HANA operations.
-Ensure adherence to project governance, quality standards, and audit/compliance requirements. Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for business leaders, IT leadership, and external partners.
 -Facilitate workshops, steering committee meetings, and regular project status reporting.
-Align business requirements with technical teams to ensure clarity, feasibility, and strategic fit. Team Leadership & Coordination.

- Manage and coordinate work across internal teams, SAP functional consultants, technical developers, and vendors.

 - Drive team motivation, collaboration, and productivity with clear communication and direction.
- Ensure effective change management, training, and organizational readiness for deployments. Solution & Process Oversight

- Work with functional leads (MM, FICO, PM, SD, PP, QM, etc.) to ensure end‑to‑end integration across SAP modules.

 - Support review of functional designs, RICEFW specifications, testing strategies, and cutover plans.

- Work closely with support teams to ensure smooth transition from project to operations (hypercare to steady state). Risk, Issue & Change Management

- Proactively identify project risks and issues, recommend mitigation plans, and drive timely resolution.
- Manage change requests, assess impacts, and oversee approval/implementation processes.

- Ensure all deliverables meet quality, performance, and business objectives

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess: - Minimum 12–15 years of overall IT experience, with at least 8 years managing SAP projects.

- Proven experience leading at least two full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementations.

 - Strong experience managing SAP AMS / support operations in an S/4HANA environment.

- Solid understanding of SAP modules (FICO, MM, PM, SD, PP, etc.) and cross-functional dependencies. - Knowledge of SAP Activate methodology, project management frameworks, and best practices.

- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.

 - Demonstrated ability to manage large, diverse teams including vendors, integrators, and internal staff.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision‑making abilities.

- Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) is a strong plus

- Strong leadership and people management capability, with experience leading multi‑disciplinary teams.

- Ability to translate complex technical topics into business‑friendly communication.

- Customer-focused mindset: proactive, responsive, solution-oriented.

- Proven ability to manage projects under tight timelines and changing priorities.

 - Competent in preparing executive-level reports, dashboards, and presentations.

 - Experience with Agile/Hybrid project frameworks is a plus.

 - Understanding of integration challenges, data migration complexities, and infrastructure dependencies in SAP programs
