Security Engineer - 12 months contract

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Security Analyst to support and enhance our organisation’s endpoint and security operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, hands-on experience with endpoint security tools, and the ability to respond effectively to security incidents.

Key Responsibilities

Provide analytical and technical security recommendations to internal teams.

Perform Security Incident Response, including investigation, containment, remediation, and documentation.

Operate, manage, and maintain Enterprise Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) platforms, anti-virus deployment, and management systems.

Manage and deploy security policies for client endpoints and servers.

Plan, coordinate, and execute product installations, upgrades, patches, and hotfix deployments.

Develop, update, and maintain documentation related to managed systems, processes, and operations.

Identify endpoints infected with malware that cannot be automatically remediated by the endpoint protection agent, and conduct onsite malware cleaning following the incident handling and escalation process.

Monitor system and security logs to detect malware outbreaks or indicators of compromise, and handle such events in accordance with the Incident Management process.

Troubleshoot and repair client security installations across all relevant servers and devices.
