Job Description

Position Summary

This role is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of IT vertical accounts on the commercial side, covering relationships, pricing, scope management, escalations, and account growth. You will act as the primary commercial owner for assigned customers, ensuring smooth coordination between internal operations and external stakeholders while driving sustainable revenue growth and margin discipline.

You will work closely with senior team members during a structured onboarding phase and transition into full ownership of live customer accounts within the first 90 days

Key responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of IT vertical accounts end-to-end from a commercial perspective, including relationships, pricing, scope, escalations, and growth.

• Transition accounts from senior team members through a structured handover process during the initial onboarding period.

• Serve as the named commercial contact for customers within 90 days of joining.

• Manage newly acquired accounts from the business development team, ensuring smooth onboarding, internal alignment, and execution readiness.

• Identify and drive account growth opportunities through new lanes, geographies, and value-added services (e.g., IOR/EOR, ITAD).

• Maintain strong margin discipline by managing pricing, scope control, billing accuracy, and receivables.

• Collaborate closely with operations and SOE teams to ensure accurate quotations and seamless execution.

• Act as the commercial escalation point for your accounts when required.

• Maintain accurate forecasting, reporting, and pipeline visibility across your portfolio.

Requirements

• Experience: 5+ years in account management within freight forwarding, logistics or supply chain. Exposure to IT logistics, IOR/EOR or value-added services is a strong plus.

• Customer-facing strength: articulate and confident with customer counterparts. Comfortable handling commercial conversations and escalations without defaulting to escalation.

• Commercially sharp: strong instincts on rates, margins, contracts and the back and-forth of commercial negotiation.

• Organised: you can hold a book of accounts, keep CRM clean, and run a forecast you stand behind.

• Growth-minded: you are open to learning our specialist depth in IOR/EOR and IT logistics, and you want to grow into team leadership over time

Mon to Fri 9am-6pm
