We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Manager to join our team, focusing on the fast-growing digital space in Data Center and Telecommunications industries. The role is pivotal in running the Project Management Office (PMO); managing multiple concurrent projects in APAC (SG, MY, HK, JP), and ensuring alignment with business objectives while maintaining high quality project delivery standards (ISO9001:2015), budgets, timelines and ensuring project delivery meet or exceed Customers’ requirements.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has strong organisational skills, and thrives on enabling sales success. This role also requires basic engineering knowledge of customers’ needs (electrical, mechanical and optical fibre technical know-how) and the ability to craft tailored/bespoke project management plans to meet customers’ demands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple concurrent projects by coordinating resources, timelines, and dependencies to achieve project objectives.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, risk registers, and issue logs to support project tracking.
- Identify, assess, and proactively mitigate project risks to minimize impact on delivery and quality.
- Conduct project reviews and lessons learned sessions to drive process improvements and enhance future project delivery.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders by providing clear, timely updates and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage vendors (Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Japan) by providing technical and commercial input to secure optimal project outcomes.
- Collaborate with internal departments (Pre-Sales, Sales and Finance Operations) to ensure timely delivery of products and services:
- Verify PreSales design to ensure Sales have accurate engineering information.
- Trigger procurement process for stock, materials and services from suppliers / partners to deliver bespoke network engineering solutions and services to customers.
- Arrange and perform shipment coordination with suppliers, vendors, 3PL and customers.
- Review and verify accurate purchase orders and coordinate lead time with suppliers for prompt stock arrival to the warehouse or customer site.
- Onboarding of new suppliers, partners and subcontractors.
- Application and renewal of site access,regulatory authority’s licenses and permits, if applicable.
- Maintain accurate project records in ERP system.
- Perform annual ISO9001 Quality audit.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures and business ethics codes.
- A strong customer advocate; ensuring high level of customer satisfaction and retention
Qualifications & Experience:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric mindset.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise, and work effectively under pressure.
- Team player with a proactive and problem-solving attitude.
