Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance network architecture and improve overall system efficiency.
  • Conduct regular network assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement security measures.
  • Document network configurations, processes, and procedures for future reference and compliance purposes.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior network engineers and other IT staff.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend improvements and upgrades.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in network engineering or a similar role, preferably in a corporate environment in Singapore.
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, etc.) and network architecture principles.
  • Proficiency in configuring and managing routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking devices from vendors such as Cisco, HP Aruba, Fortinet, Palo Alto, or Checkpoint
  • Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, PRTG) and performance tuning.
  • Familiarity with cloud networking concepts and technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
  • CCNP or equivalent certification is highly desirable; additional certifications (CCIE, JNCIE, etc.) are a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
