- Provide end-to-end pre-sales and post-sales support for Data Center Infrastructure and Smart Automation Solutions.
- Collaborate closely with the Sales Team to identify client requirements, propose suitable solutions, and prepare detailed solution proposals.
- Design and produce technical drawings, including: Single Line Diagrams (SLD), Network topology diagrams and System architecture layouts
- Prepare solution design documents, technical proposals, and bill of materials (BOM).
- Conduct technical presentations, product demos, and proof-of-concept sessions with clients.
- Manage product forecasting, competitive analysis, and maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of our solution portfolio.
- Coordinate with Project, R&D, and Engineering teams to ensure design accuracy and smooth project handover.
- Stay informed about emerging Data Center technologies, such as DCIM, Smart Rack Access, Asset Tracking, Power & Cooling systems, and IoT-based monitoring solutions.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields.
- Minimum 3 years of Pre-Sales or Technical Design experience in IT or Data Center environments.
- Proficient in using technical drawing tools such as AutoCAD, Microsoft Visio, or equivalent.
- Experience in preparing SLD and network infrastructure drawings is essential.
- Strong understanding of Data Center systems, including network architecture, structured cabling, power distribution, and access control.
- Excellent presentation, documentation, and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and capable of creating technical proposals and solution documentation.
- Independent, resourceful, and a strong team player with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage (for communication with Mandarin-speaking clients and vendors).
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred Skills
- Hands-on experience with AutoCAD, Microsoft Visio, or other CAD/drawing applications.
- Familiarity with DCIM, Smart Rack Access, and intelligent monitoring systems.
- Basic understanding of network configuration, IP addressing, and device connectivity.
- Knowledge of low voltage (LV) or extra-low voltage (ELV) systems and integration design.
- Experience preparing technical documentation, including schematics, layout drawings, and wiring diagrams.
- Certification in data center design, networking, or infrastructure management (e.g., CDCP, CCNA, DCCA) will be advantageous.
