Senior Executive Engineer/Principal Engineer (C&S)

Job Description & Requirements

• Lead and oversee 3D structural design and analysis using advanced engineering software.
• Review, endorse, and provide technical guidance on structural designs to ensure compliance with statutory standards, regulations, and relevant Codes of Practice.
• Manage and coordinate all structural engineering activities across multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery and technical excellence.
• Act as the key liaison among project stakeholders, including clients, consultants, design teams, site teams, and contractors.
• Provide technical leadership during design development, value engineering, constructability reviews, and problem‑solving at various project stages.
• Supervise and mentor junior engineers, providing professional guidance and ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
• Lead coordination efforts with contractors and multidisciplinary project teams to resolve design and site issues efficiently.
• Ensure all civil and structural submissions meet authority requirements and are prepared and submitted in a timely manner.
• Oversee BIM‑related structural design processes and contribute to improvements in digital engineering workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil and Structural Engineering, recognised by the Professional Engineers Board (PEB) Singapore.
  (A Master’s degree and/or progress toward PE registration is a strong advantage.)
• Minimum 5 - 8 years of structural engineering experience in building or mixed‑development projects.
• Strong technical proficiency in structural design aligned with local Codes, Regulations, Eurocodes, and relevant international standards.
• Well‑versed in industry-leading structural design software such as ETABS, STAAD.Pro, SAFE, SAP2000, MIDAS, and others.
• Demonstrated experience in authority submissions for civil and structural works, with good understanding of regulatory requirements.
• Proven experience in leading design or project management activities, including BIM‑based coordination.
• Conversant with statutory codes and requirements relating to site supervision, quality control procedures, and construction administration.
