Job Description

Job Description: • Review drawings, take off quantities, prepare Bills of Quantities. • Liaise with the construction team & design team to prepare documents for Request for Quotation (RFQ). • Source for potential sub-contractors & suppliers and send out invitations for RFQs. • Organise, compare, analyse and prepare reports for quotations received. • Coordinate queries and clarifications between tenderers and construction team during RFQ stage including arranging and attending for meetings. • Assist QS Manager / Contracts Manager in preparation of tender submission. • Coordinate post-tender interviews between tenderers, construction team, QS team and contracts team. • Assist QS Manager / Contracts Manager in quantity measurements and cost estimates for administration of sub-contracts, price comparation and negotiation. • Prepare contract documents for awarded sub-contractors & suppliers. • Performing contract administration including but not limiting to valuation of payments and variation claims and settlement of final account with sub-contractors and suppliers in accordance to contract requirements. • Perform all duties in accordance with CCCC policies, processes, systems and procedures. • Any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by QS Manager / Contracts Manager. Job Requirements: • Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Survey or equivalent. • Minimum 3-4 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position. • Tender experience is preferred. • Experience in building, HDB, condominium projects, or projects of similar scale, complexity, and nature, will be an advantage. • Strong communication, analytical, negotiation and time management skills. • Proficient computer skills, including advanced proficiency in Excel. • Able to work independently with minimum guidance in fast paced environment.
