Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Assess client business and technical requirements and recommend appropriate infrastructure, virtualization, cloud, and security solutions.
  • Provide technical consultancy on enterprise IT infrastructure design, implementation, optimization, and modernization initiatives.
  • Conduct infrastructure assessments, capacity planning, risk analysis, and performance evaluations to support client business objectives.
  • Develop technical recommendations, solution architectures, and implementation strategies for client engagements.
  • Administer and maintain enterprise server environments, including Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and Microsoft 365 services.
  • Manage virtualization platforms including VMware vSphere, ESXi, VMware Horizon, Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Hyper-V, and Nutanix infrastructure.
  • Perform server provisioning, configuration, upgrades, patching, monitoring, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management activities.
  • Ensure system availability, reliability, security, and performance across client environments.
  • Deploy, manage, and support cloud infrastructure hosted on AWS and Microsoft Azure platforms.
  • Implement infrastructure security controls, hardening standards, vulnerability remediation, and compliance requirements.
  • Monitor cloud resources and optimize performance, availability, and operational efficiency.
  • Support cloud migration, disaster recovery, and business continuity initiatives.
  • Lead infrastructure deployment, migration, upgrade, consolidation, and technology refresh projects.
  • Coordinate project activities with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, implementation plans, and knowledge repositories.
  • Conduct testing, validation, and post-implementation support activities.
  • Provide advanced technical support and resolution for infrastructure-related incidents, problems, and service requests.
  • Participate in change management, incident management, problem management, and service improvement initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, process enhancement, and operational efficiency improvements.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to project and support teams.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Relevant industry certifications in VMware, AWS, Microsoft Azure, Nutanix, Citrix, or IT Service Management are preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in enterprise IT infrastructure administration, consulting, and support.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale server, virtualization, cloud, and data center environments.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering infrastructure projects, migrations, upgrades, and transformation initiatives.
  • Experience supporting multi-client environments and providing technical consultancy services is advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, VMware Horizon, Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, and Hyper-V.
  • Hands-on experience with Windows Server administration, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Exchange, and PowerShell scripting.
  • Experience with AWS and Microsoft Azure cloud platforms, including deployment, monitoring, and security management.
  • Familiarity with Cisco UCS, HPE infrastructure, Nutanix platforms, storage technologies, networking, and backup solutions.
  • Knowledge of IT security standards, vulnerability management, and infrastructure hardening best practices.
