• Provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to lawyers across different legal practices, ensuring all documentation is accurate and deadlines are met.
• Assist with the preparation, formatting, and proofreading of legal documents such as contracts, agreements, correspondence, and court filings to maintain high standards of quality.
• Manage calendars for multiple fee earners by scheduling meetings, coordinating appointments, and organising travel arrangements as required to facilitate efficient workflow.
• Handle confidential information with sensitivity and discretion while maintaining meticulous records in both digital and physical filing systems for easy retrieval.
• Liaise with clients, external counsel, courts, and other stakeholders in a polite and professional manner to facilitate smooth communication on behalf of the legal team.
• Support billing processes by preparing invoices, tracking billable hours, and assisting with expense claims in accordance with firm procedures to ensure accuracy.
• Coordinate team meetings by preparing agendas, taking minutes, distributing materials, and following up on action items so that collaboration remains effective.
• Assist with onboarding new team members by sharing best practices and providing guidance on internal systems and procedures for seamless integration into the team.
• Contribute positively to the office environment by participating in communal activities and supporting colleagues during busy periods or absences whenever needed.
