Job Description
Overview:
You will be required to provide legal and corporate secretarial support in Singapore to our local operation team as well as support our regional activities in the various jurisdictions in Asia Pacific.
In addition, you will be required to handle any ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Responsibilities:
• Draft, review, negotiate and advise on a variety of commercial agreements, including teaming agreements, non-disclosure agreements and subcontracts.
• Drafting inter-company agreements, resolutions, consents and other transaction documentation
• Providing research assistance e.g. to undertake background legal research or check on regulatory requirements and compliance for local or overseas matters
• Anticipate the risks and legal needs of operations; monitor, alert, advise and propose appropriate solutions;
• Partner with functional experts, being operation, business, etc. to automate and develop procedures, processes, and controls.
• Maintain the company’s regulatory and compliance documents and other policies and procedures to ensure they are up-to-date and comply with applicable regulations.
• Ensure ongoing processes and controls are complete and accurate recordkeeping of all documentation and relevant communications with internal stakeholders.
• Other ad hoc matters as and when required.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a reputable university.
• 0-3 years PQE. Graduates are welcome to apply.
• Highly motivated self-starter and team player, able and keen to work in a detailed and demanding, yet collaborative environment.
