Junior DevOps Platform Engineer

Job Description Job Summary We are hiring a DevOps Platform Engineer to support the design, automation and reliability of technology platforms supporting capital markets systems. The role focuses on infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms and operational stability in a regulated environment. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop and maintain infrastructure and automation solutions • Build and support CI CD pipelines and deployment processes • Monitor, troubleshoot and optimize system and application performance • Apply security best practices and support compliance requirements • Collaborate with development and operations teams • Support continuous improvement of DevOps tools and processes Required Experience And Skills • One to three years of relevant experience in DevOps or infrastructure roles • Knowledge of UNIX platforms and databases such as SQL or Oracle • Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Shell • Hands on exposure to DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, Ansible and monitoring tools • Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes • Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS • Willingness to learn and apply AI based development tools responsibly Domain Exposure • Experience supporting financial or capital market systems is preferred Nice to Have • Experience with banking or trading platforms • Knowledge of Java or other object oriented languages • Exposure to microservices and modern application design Soft Skills • Strong problem solving and communication skills • Ability to work in a fast paced environment • Willingness to learn new technologies and tools • Team oriented and able to work independently Soft Skills Job Description - Grade Specific • Strong problem solving and communication skills • Ability to work in a fast paced environment • Willingness to learn new technologies and tools • Team oriented and able to work independently
